Privacy Policy

Metamystic ("we", "our", or "us") operates the PredictLens mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

1. Information We Collect

PredictLens is designed to work without requiring you to create an account. We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the App:

• Device Push Token: If you enable push notifications, your device generates a push notification token. This token is stored on your device and used solely to deliver alerts you configure (e.g. price threshold alerts, morning briefings). We do not store push tokens on our servers.
• App Preferences: Settings such as favourite markets, alert configurations, quiet hours, and morning briefing time are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not transmit these preferences to our servers.
• Usage Data (Anonymous): Standard server logs may record your IP address and request metadata (e.g. API endpoint, timestamp, HTTP status) when the App fetches market data. This data is used for debugging and service monitoring only, and is not linked to your identity.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifier.
• We do not require account registration.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or sell your data to third parties.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (e.g. Firebase, Mixpanel).

3. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we collect is used exclusively to:

• Deliver the market data and AI insights you request from our API.
• Maintain the reliability and performance of our servers.
• Diagnose and fix technical issues.

4. Third-Party Data Sources

Market data displayed in PredictLens is sourced from third-party platforms, including Polymarket and Kalshi. When you view market data, our backend server fetches this data on your behalf. Your device does not communicate directly with these platforms.

AI-generated insights are produced using the OpenAI API. Market data (no personal data) is sent to OpenAI to generate analysis text. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

• Server access logs are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted.
• Market price history is retained for up to 180 days for chart display purposes.
• App preferences stored on your device persist until you delete the App or clear its data.

6. Children's Privacy

PredictLens is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect our servers and the data they process. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. App preferences are stored locally on your device and protected by iOS's built-in security mechanisms.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information tied to your identity, there is typically no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you believe we hold any data about you, you may contact us at service@metamystic.io and we will respond within 30 days.

To remove all locally stored preferences, simply delete and reinstall the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
